Snap Snap is a quick (and fun) new way to resize open windows, simply by dragging them to the edges of your screen. Depending on which edge you choose—top or bottom, left or right—the window will expand vertically, fill the screen, or you can even position windows side by side. Gadgets Gadgets put information and fun—like news, pictures, games, and the phases of the moon—right on your desktop.
In Windows Vista, gadgets are lined up on the right side of your desktop. Windows 7 sets them free on the screen, where you can move and resize them as you like.
